I’m Yew Hong Woo, the operator behind YHSL Consulting Ltd. I’ve spent the last two decades running delivery and assurance on technology change in UK enterprises — insurance, financial services, and public sector. The work has covered the full arc from strategy to operations, but I’ve spent most of my time in the bits programmes routinely find awkward: testing, transition, and the period either side of go-live.

I work as an independent because that’s where I’m useful. Permanent roles funnel you towards one platform and one organisation’s habits; the independent route lets me take engagements on their merits, bring in what’s worked elsewhere, and leave when the work is genuinely done. Recent client engagements have been concentrated in Salesforce Industries and Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, but my approach isn’t tied to either — the underlying disciplines transfer.
